Fight Darkness with Light

I pledged a Mitzvah for those lost in the horrific tragedy. Last night I went out and did so. I hope its gets paid forward. Darkness can’t be killed with a stick, it must be fought with light!!! Nu! Will you too pledge to bring more light into our world with a mitzvah?

The Rebbe once said that the greatest darkness cannot stand up to even a small candle....can you imagine the magnitude of a million candles....May G-d give strength and comfort to all those whose lives were shattered yesterday.

Thought for the Day

Instructions

They translate it as “The Bible,” or “The Law,” but that’s not what the word means. Torah means “instructions.”

Whatever piece of Torah you learn, you must find the instructions it is giving you.

From the wisdom of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, of righteous memory; words and condensation by Rabbi Tzvi Freeman. To order Rabbi Freeman’s book, Bringing Heaven Down to Earth, click here.
