Yom Kippur Day Service -Yizkor
The Torah deems Yom Kippur as the holiest day of the year because it focuses on the essence of the Jew. A Jew goes to shul on Yom Kippur to affirm that s/he believes in the G-d of Israel and in His Torah (even though our deeds aren't always perfect.)
