Jews have been blowing the Shofar, a simple hollowed out ram’s horn, for thousands of years in celebration of Rosh Hashana, or the Head of the Year –
also known as the birthday of humanity.

Shofar in the Park is an option to take part in this sacred “Mitzvah”, especially for those who are not able to attend services on the
second day of Rosh Hashanah.

You'll have the chance to hear the shofar, enjoy a sweet RH treat, and receive a special Rosh Hashanah gift for each child.

At the playground area in the Herndon Elementary School
630 Dransville Rd. Herndon 20170.

For all ages, but especially the little ones.

No charge!

Toot us a Horn, and announce your arrival.
Let us know that you'll be joining the Shofar in the Park.
